The Kharujaho Temple Group is a group of Hindu temples and Jain Temples in Kharujaho, Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh, India. The temples are famous for their nagara-style symbolism and their erotic sculptures. Most Kharajaho temples were build between 950AD and 1050AD by the Chandela dynasty. The Kharujaho Temples are made of sandstone with a granite foundation that is almost concealed from view. The temples feature a variety of artwork, of which 10% is sexual or erotic art outside and inside the temples. The complex is broadly divided in three parts: the Eastern group, the Southern group and the Western group.
