Yellowstone National Park Part II, United States

Yellowstone National Park is a national park located in the western United States, largely in the northwest corner of Wyoming and extending into Montana and Idaho. he volcanism of Yellowstone is believed to be linked to the somewhat older volcanism of the Snake River Plain. The Yellowstone Caldera is the largest volcanic system in North America. The most famous geyser in Yellowstone is Old Faithful geyser, located in Upper Geyser Basin. Castle Geyser, Lion Geyser, Beehive Geyser, Grand Geyser, Giant Geyser, Riverside Geyser and numerous other geysers are in the same basin. The park contains the tallest active geyser in the world—Steamboat Geyser in the Norris Geyser Basin.
