DelfSail is a Dutch maritime event, which is, in principle, organized every five years in Delfzijl. DelfSail was first organized in 1986 by a group of representatives of the municipality of Delfzijl and the port companies. In 2016, the sixth edition of DelfSail was held from Wednesday, June 29 to Sunday, July 3. The theme of 2016 was A Festival of Energy.
