The eighth edtion of the ‘t Veluws Sand Sculpture Festival took place from april 15th till october 29 2016. The theme of the eighth edition of the Sand Sculpture Festival  was ‘De wereld van Rien Poortvliet, is een feest der herkenning!’ (The world of Rien Poortvliet is a feast of recognition). The impressive works of art were created by professional sand artists from home and abroad.
