The Neapolis Archaeological Park is the most visited archaeological site in Syracuse where it’s possible to see the most important remains of the ancient Greek and Roman town. The Greek theater, the Roman amphitheater, the ancient stone quarries, the ear of Dionysus, the altar of Hieron, are just some of the monuments found within this large green area located at the entrance of the modern town of Syracuse.
