Lednice Castle Park is a vast English-style landscape park dating from the 19th century, closely associated with the Liechtenstein noble family. The park is part of the Lednice-Valtice UNESCO World Heritage Site and features the Dyje River, various ponds, rare trees, and romantic structures such as a minaret and an artificial ruin.
The park was created in the 19th century around Lednice Castle (Zámek Lednice). Sights in the park include a Moorish-style lookout tower (minaret), an artificial castle ruin (John’s Castle), and a tropical greenhouse right next to the castle. The park is open year-round and is a popular destination for walks and boat trips.
