Fort Augustus is a small settlement in the parish of Boleskine and Abertarff, at the south-west end of Loch Ness, Scottish Highlands.
The town is also located on the Caledonian Canal that connects Fort William to Inverness. This canal flows into Loch Ness, which is separated from each other by locks.
